HOTEL 1492 has achieved the Certification for Sustainable Tourism since 2001, level 3, Level obtained just by few hotels.

Hotel 1492 leads from 2008 a recycling proyect around the neighborhood, once a month we coordinate with the companies through out Barrio Escalante to pick up cardboard, paper, plastic, tin, etc, collecting some months one ton of responsable waste.
